How To Check-In
citizenM wants you to enjoy your stay and not the queue at the traditional front desk.
Upon entering our hotel, you will be greeted by our staff. We call them Ambassadors. The ambassadors are present in the hotel 24 hours a day and will assist you at any time.
We have installed 6 check-in kiosks in our main lobby.
These check-in kiosks allow you to retrieve your reservation and room card in less than 2 minutes.
Check in
Please walk towards the check in kiosks and stand right in front of the screen. You will see two options; check in and check out.
1) Please choose check in if you have just arrived.
2) You will be asked to enter your name, confirmation number or email address. Please choose to enter one of these three options.
3) The kiosk will automatically retrieve your reservation. Please check if the retrieved reservation is correct. If correct, please confirm. If not correct, please contact an ambassador.
4) If the retrieved confirmation is correct, you will be asked to create your own password to access free Wi-Fi (free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel and in your own room!). If you do not want to access free Wi-Fi, then please press No.
5) Your reservation details will now appear on screen for you to adjust and to confirm.
6) After confirmation you will see an overview of your room details and total costs.
7) If you have booked a flexible rate at citizenM.com, you will be asked to simply perform a credit card or debit card transaction to complete your room payment. Please enter your credit card or debit card details to complete payment.
8) After a successful payment, an invoice will be printed and the kiosk will ask you to pick up a room card. These room cards are provided to you in a basket next to the kiosks. Please pick one room card and hold this in front of the sensor. The kiosk will automatically read the card and store all room details.
If you have booked a pre-paid rate at citizenM.com, you will not be asked to enter your credit or debit card details. The kiosk will automatically ask you to pick up a room card. Please hold the card in front of the sensor.
9) A screen will appear confirming the room card and a receipt will be printed with your room number and hotel policies. You can now use the room card to access your room.

Check out

2) You will be asked to enter your name. Please enter your name.
Another option, and also much faster, is to hold the room card in front of the sensor to retrieve your reservation automatically.
3) If you have purchased any food and beverages items at canteenM or made phone calls, a screen will appear with the total amount of costs. Please fulfil the payment by performing a credit card or debit card transaction. Please enter your credit card or debit card details. If you have made no additional costs, please press ‘I agree'.
4) After a successful payment a receipt will be automatically printed.
5) A screen will appear asking you if you wish to receive your invoice by email, print only or email and print out. Please choose one of the three options to complete check out.
You can keep the room card as a souvenir or luggage tag. You can use this room card again in any citizenM hotel!
